On December 19, 2021, the Community Learning Center (CLC) Bhakti Jaya Indonesia (BJI) has held an Education and Skills Program Graduation event at Taipei University of Marine and Technology in Tamsui, New Taipei City for 530 Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) graduates of the Pursuit program. Package B (SMP), Pursue Package C (SMA), Entrepreneurship Training in collaboration with BJI’s CLC with the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG), Financial Literacy Training in collaboration with BJI’s CLC National Development University “VETERAN” East Java, and a collaborative Catering Course CLC BJI with the University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT). Of the 530 graduates, around 117 people attended offline.
IETO Taipei in his speech expressed his appreciation for the graduates who have struggled to spend their time, energy and income to get diplomas and certificates. The knowledge gained is expected to change perspectives and ways of thinking to continuously improve self-competence in the world of work so that in the future graduates can change their status from migrant workers to professional workers. The chairman of the BJI CLC Foundation said that the graduation ceremony was aimed at giving awards to PMIs to be more motivated and enthusiastic to take educational training to the next level.
