Office of International Affairs (OIA) – Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang

Brief History

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang was established as a transformation of the Office for Foreign Partnership and Cooperation (LKKLN). This change was formally enacted through the Rector’s Decree No. 43/KEP/III.0/D/2021, which officially amended the name and nomenclature of LKKLN into the Office of International Affairs (OIA).

This transformation was not merely a change of name, but also a significant milestone in strengthening the university’s internationalization strategy, expanding global cooperation networks, and enhancing institutional competitiveness both nationally and internationally.
