TANGERANG, UM TANGERANG – In an effort to expand international cooperation, Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT) is proud to welcome a visit from Kyong Woon University, South Korea in the Ahmad Dahlan Room, Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang. This visit aims to explore opportunities for collaboration between the two higher education institutions.
The delegation from Kyong Woon University was led by Mrs. Joy, and received by UMT Vice Chancellor for Cooperation, Dr. Enawar. During the meeting, the two sides discussed various potential areas for cooperation, including student and staff exchanges, joint research, and joint academic programs.
“International cooperation is very important for the development of higher education institutions in this era of globalization. “We hope that this visit can be the beginning of a sustainable partnership between UMT and Kyong Woon University,” said Professor Ahmad Rusdiana.
Meanwhile, Mrs Joy also expressed their enthusiasm for the potential for collaboration with UMT. “We are very happy to be able to explore collaboration opportunities with UMT. “We are confident that this collaboration will provide great benefits for both institutions and also for our students and staff,” he said.
Separately, Dr. Aidil Syah Putra as Director of KUI UMT stated that this visit marked an important first step in building close relations between UMT and Kyong Woon University. Both parties will agree on several collaboration implementations consisting of the Mandiri Student Mobility Award, Student Exchange, Visiting Professor, International Credits Transfer, Dual Degree and Korean Corner. For this reason, both parties are also committed to continuing discussions and negotiations to formulate a concrete and mutually beneficial cooperation framework in the near future.
