Rector Scholarship

In line with the University Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT) vision to be one of the world’s leading universities, UMT has implemented the “Rector’s Scholarship”. The Rector’s Scholarship will provide a fully funded Educational Experience
for all potential UMT’s graduates in the acquisition of English at UMT’s Language and Academic Training Centre.

The training undertaken at UMT’s Language and Academic Training Centre aims to create qualified and competitive graduates who are capable of competing within the global community and being capable of bringing about “Positive Change”
for our Nation and the Global Community, with the program also preparing the participants for scholarship application both nationally and internationally.

The program is intensive and conducted over six months with the Graduates on completion prepared to engage in testing from either IELTS or TOEFL (the pre-requisite requirement for most, scholarships, sponsors or universities).

Further, the Graduates are educated to have a researcher’s mindset in the preparation and writing of academic papers that will meet both the National and International standards for academic excellence.

To show UMT’s intention of becoming a World Class University, many of our lecturers currently hold their Doctorate’s in their fields of expertise with others undertaking their Doctoral studies in Indonesia, Australia, the United Kingdom,
and the Netherland
