LP2M

Institute for Research, Publication and Community Service (LP3M) is the university’s institution with three main functions: Research, Publication, and Community Service. LP3M is crucial to all three roles. LP3M plays a vital role in managing and ensuring high quality research, translating research results into practice and technology that benefit to society; encouraging and facilitating collaborative research among faculties members and international fellows. LP3M encourages UMT's academe to publish their research in international journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
Last but not least, LP3M facilitates and coordinates community service activities, nationally and internationally. Since the university’s establishment, the university has carried out this community engagement service. To do that, LP3M disseminating research and community service funding information provided and awarded by the government including Directorate General of Higher Education (Dikti), Ministry of Education and Culture, government ministries and non-government ministries offices and on.

DARMASISWA

Darmasiswa is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relations with Indonesia to study Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia), art and culture in 54 universities in 2015. This program was established in 1974 as part of ASEAN initiative, admitting only students from ASEAN. However, in 1976 this program was extended further to other countries. To date, the number of countries participating in this program is more than 111 countries and organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC), Republic of Indonesia.

IISMA Scholarship

IISMA is the Government of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for mobility program at top Universities overseas. Undergraduate students could spend one semester at the overseas university partner to study, to experience the host country's culture and undertake practical assignments to hone their skills.

Beasiswa Kemitraan Negara Berkembang, popularly known as KNB Scholarship, is a prestigious scholarship program offered by the government of Republic of Indonesia to selected applicants originating from developing countries. Managed by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, the scholarship has been disbursed since 2008
